Hes Kardan is an Australian-based electronic music artist, producer and DJ of Iranian descent, born in Iran and raised in Australia since 1987.

His sound explores the connection between culture, sound and frequency, moving across melodic house, deep house, progressive house, ambient, hypnotic techno, Afro house and atmospheric electronic music.

Persian musical heritage plays an important role in his creative identity. Influences from traditional instruments such as the Santo​or and Setar, alongside vocals, organic textures and intricate rhythms, meet the evolving sounds of Australian electronic music.

Producing music since 2001, Hes Kardan builds his tracks layer by layer, experimenting with melodies, rhythms, textures and atmospheres to develop a sound that moves naturally between genres. His DJ sets follow the same approach, allowing different sounds and intensities to connect and unfold throughout each mix.

For Hes Kardan, frequency is more than a musical concept. It represents the way different sounds can align, cultures can intersect and people can connect through a shared experience.

He is also the founder of The First Seeds, an independent record label established to develop his own musical direction and release music from artists whose work resonates with the label's vision.

His focus continues to evolve through original productions, DJ performances and a growing commitment to building local musical connections and bringing people together through electronic music.
